Your privacy
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Stueo collects, why we use it, and the choices you have when you use our AI interior-design service.
Last updated: September 25, 2026
1. Information we collect
When you create a Stueo account, we collect information such as your name, email address, account identifiers, and authentication details provided through our sign-in provider.
When you use the design service, we collect the room images, design style selections, instructions, generated results, and any optional room measurements or settings you choose to provide. We also receive technical information such as device, browser, approximate location, and usage events needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
If you contact us, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit. If paid plans are enabled, payment details are handled by our payment processor; Stueo does not store complete card numbers.
2. How we use information
We use your information to provide, personalise, and improve Stueo: processing uploaded room photos, generating redesigns, saving your gallery, responding to support requests, and administering your account.
- To authenticate users and protect accounts from unauthorised access.
- To enforce usage limits, credits, subscriptions, and other plan features.
- To monitor performance, prevent abuse, rate-limit requests, and troubleshoot errors.
- To communicate with you about your account, service updates, or support requests.
- To comply with applicable law and respond to valid legal requests.
3. Images and AI processing
Uploaded room photos are sent to the AI processing providers needed to generate your requested redesign. We use those providers as service processors and instruct them to process content only to provide the requested service, subject to their applicable terms and privacy commitments.
You should only upload images you have the right to use and that do not contain sensitive personal information you do not want processed. Please avoid uploading identity documents, payment card information, or images of people unless you have permission.
4. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate Stueo, such as hosting and storage, authentication, AI generation, analytics, customer support, and payment processing providers. These providers receive only the information needed for their service.
We may disclose information when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of Stueo, our users, or others; investigate fraud or abuse; or comply with law.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain account information and saved designs while your account is active or for as long as needed to provide the service. Contact messages and operational records may be retained for support, accounting, security, and legal purposes.
You may ask us to delete your account and associated personal information by contacting us. Some information may remain where retention is required by law, needed to resolve disputes, or maintained in secure backups for a limited period before deletion.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We will verify requests as required to protect your account.
You can stop receiving non-essential communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. Essential service and account messages may still be sent when necessary.
7. Security and international transfers
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information, including access controls, authenticated requests, and protected storage. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong password and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
8. Children and changes
Stueo is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required.
9. Contact
For privacy questions, rights requests, or concerns about how your information is handled, use the Stueo contact form. We will make a reasonable effort to respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
